With a career that began in boxing, coached by his own father, and continued with achievements in judo, Capoeira experiences at the Military Police Academy, and intense training with black belts in Karate, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and, more recently, Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), the instructor brings a unique background. He not only masters the techniques—he’s experienced real-life combat situations and knows what works in practice.

Extreme Pure Self-Defense is an integrative mix of effective Martial Arts styles designed to provide a rich, resourceful arsenal with elements/techniques of Boxing, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Karate, Kung Fu, Capoeira and Street Fighting to the students/practitioners, which is for me the best way to avoid or intuitively act/respond to the situation, also to assess the ocasion intelligently.

My experience with Wallace Ferreira with self-defense and agility training based in Capoeira was very positive. He worked with my children and me developing a foundation of defensive moves for self-protection. This included agility training with tumbling and controlled falls. I found Wallace to be very knowledgeable demonstrating moves that were easy to understand.  The total experience gave me and my children greater physical confidence to handle ourselves.

Wallace is awesome, he works with you at whatever level fitness you are and can custom taylor your workout to whatever it is that you want to get out of fit. It has been a number of years since I’ve trained with Wallace, but here’s what I would say about my experience training with him:
I felt very safe training with Wallace and I feel like I learned usable self-defense tactics that were based in real time, street based, effective, powerful and useful tactics.
I valued the mixed martial arts aspect of his training, one on one real time training, and hands on tactics which I feel like is very valuable if you’re ever in a situation that you need to use it.
